HUAWEI Pura 80 launched in APAC: 50MP variable aperture camera and Flat-edge frosted finish
After its global debut, the HUAWEI Pura 80 goes to the APAC region.

Stylish phone with powerful cameras
To recall, the phone arrived with clean aesthetics available in Frosted Gold, Frosted White, and Frosted Black colorways. HUAWEI added IP68 and IP69 ratings to protect the device from unwanted dust or water.
In front, the phone uses a 6.6-inch OLED panel with LTPO 1-120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K 2760 x 1256 resolution at 460 ppi, 1440Hz PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Kunllun Glass 2nd generation.

Inside, the phone is powered by an unspecified Kirin chip and is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It also has a battery of 5,170mAh paired with a 66W USB-C HUAWEI SuperCharge adaptor and supports 50W wireless charging.
In terms of imaging, the HUAWEI Pura 80 uses a 50MP Ultra Lighting Camera with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture and OIS + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide snapper + 12MP f/3.4 5.5x periscope telephoto shooter with OIS + 1.5M Spectral Channels Ultra Chroma sensor.
Other features are stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen Sound and a smart control button to open a preset feature or app. Meanwhile, holding the key down will also let users unlock more smart features.
Connectivity features are WiFi7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and dual SIM.
For OS, the device runs EMUI 15.0 out of the box.
