No need to physically go to government agencies to know

With the strict rollout of the no-contact apprehension policy in Metro Manila, the government has launched a platform where the public can check if they have committed any violation.

Through the "mayhulika" website, drivers will be able to check if they have any pending fees to pay from the comforts of their home and without having to go to any government office.

Here's how to use the website:

  • Go to https://mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph/
  • Enter your PLATE NUMBER or CONDUCTION STICKER and MV FILE NUMBER in the search bar.
  • If you have a registered violation, you may request a copy of the Notice of Violation through email. You will also receive a copy of the Notice of Violation through your registered mail (PHLPost).

Pay your fees:

  • Physical Payment - You may pay your fine either at the MMDA Head Office located at the Ground Floor or at the Robinson’s Galleria Satellite Office.
  • Digital Payment – For digital payment channels, you may settle your violation through Maya, Bayad App, iCash, and Landbank LinkBizPortal.

Note that you can also contest the violation cited on the website. To do so:

File a contest with the Traffic Adjudication Division (TAD) within 10 working days from receipt of the Notice of Violation.
Proceed to the TAD Office located on the 11th Floor, MMDA New Bldg, or by filing through online means.

Aside from the mayhulika website, motorists will soon be able to check and pay fees for traffic violations via the eGovPH app. DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr. said the department is working closely with the MMDA to link the NCAP violations monitoring system to the app.

Once fully integrated, Almirol said users will be able to receive notifications of their violations, supported with photos and videos from the MMDA.

Pagpunta mo sa eGovPH app, may button po doon ng mga penalties; pagka-click mo, mapapanood mo na iyong video na nanggagaling kay MMDA kung ito iyong violation, Almirol said.

Almirol said they are also integrating other traffic violations monitoring systems, such as the MMDA's single ticketing system platform and the Land Transportation Office (LTO)’s land transportation management system (LTMS), with the eGovPH app.
