OPPO K13 Turbo, Turbo Pro to sport cooling fan inside the camera and a triple IP rating

OPPO has an upcoming gaming-focused device with LED fans inside and a triple IP rating.

Gaming-focused phones from OPPO?

As evident in the images, the OPPO K13 Turbo series will feature a cooling fan underneath its camera module. This kind of reminds us of REDMAGIC's design, although with a different take.

On top of the built-in fan, there will also be an "IceWing magnetic air cooling fan" that can be attached to the back of the device. This will be a radiator-based cooler just like you see from prominent gaming peripherals.

OPPO claims this will run on 27W of power. The case circulates liquid through the inside loop to passively dissipate the heat, while the external fan will actively push out the case uses a built-in liquid circulation system for passive heat dissipation, while the fan attaches magnetically to provide active cooling by directing airflow onto the phone.

With that being said, this should provide the devices with the sustained performance needed for longer gaming sessions.

What made these devices special is the triple IP rating. They will have IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 certifications for water resistance, despite having fans inside, giving you an idea of its engineering marvel.

Meanwhile, leaks suggest they will have a 6.8-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and, 144Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the base K13 Turbo will have a Dimensity 8450 chip while the Pro variant will sport a  Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.

Reports also suggest they will have 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB memory options as well as a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging.

Apparently, the K Series from OPPO is mostly intended for the Chinese market, and they may come out with a different name for the Global market or could possibly be under the OnePlus brand.

On a side note, there's also an upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra with a similar highlight feature (fans + robust water resistance).

Finally, the K13 Turbo Series is launching on July 21 in China.
