HUAWEI Pura 80 launched in PH: 50MP f/1.4-f/4.0 Ultra Lighting Camera, compact size, PHP 47,999 SRP

Tech giant HUAWEI just launched the most affordable variant of its high-end Pura 80 Series in the Philippines, a few weeks after the reveal of its Pro and Ultra variants.

HUAWEI Pura 80 is now available in the Philippines

The HUAWEI Pura 80 (vanilla variant) debuts with a clean, minimalist aesthetic available in Frosted Gold, Frosted White, and Frosted Black. For durability, it boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering solid protection against dust and water.

The display

In front, the device features an extra though Kunlun Glass 2nd-gen 6.6-inch OLED display with LTPO technology, enabling a smooth 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. It delivers sharp visuals at 1.5K 2760 x 1256  resolution at 460 ppi.

Under the hood, the Pura 80 runs on an unspecified Kirin chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for media. 

Powering the device is a 5,170mAh battery that supports 66W USB-C HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50W wireless charging for fast and flexible top-ups.

HUAWEI Pura 80 back cameras

As a Pura device, it packs a powerful camera configuration. It has a triple-camera setup at the back headlined by the 50MP Ultra Lighting main shooter with variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) and OIS paired with a 13MP ultra-wide shooter and a 12MP periscope telephoto with 5.5x zoom and OIS. It also has a 1.5M Spectral Channels Ultra Chroma sensor for enhanced color accuracy. In front, it uses a 13MP f/2.0 Wide Angle shooter.

The rest of the features

The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with HUAWEI Histen Sound, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), NFC, and dual SIM support. Out of the box, the device runs EMUI 15.0, delivering a refined and responsive user experience.
