vivo T4R launched: Dimensity 7400, IP68/69 rating, and 50MP Sony IMX882

vivo launched a new mid-range device in the form of vivo T4R.

The phone's design

vivo T4r is now official

The smartphone features a sleek form factor measuring 7.3mm in thickness and weighing 183.5 grams. It is available in two colorways, namely Arctic White and Twilight Blue.

Furthermore, the device also features dual IP ratings, IP68 and IP69, for robust protection against dust or water splashes.

In front, the phone sports a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Schott Diamon Shield Glass.

In front, vivo T4R uses a 2.6GHz 4nm Dimensity 7400 chip with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options.

The phone is also equipped with a 5,700mAh battery with USB-C 44W fast charging and support for bypass charging.

The camera features

Camera-wise, the vivo T4R features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter with OIS capable of capturing 4K videos paired with a 2MP depth helper.

 On the selfie side, it uses a 32MP sensor, which is also capable of recording 4K videos.

Other confirmed features are stereo speakers and a fingerprint scanner under the display.

Connectivity options are WiFi 6( 2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 skin on top.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo T4R 8GB/128GB - INR 19,499 (around PHP 12.7K)

vivo T4R 8GB/256GB - INR 21,499 (around PHP 14K)

vivo T4R 12GB/256GB - INR 23,499 (around PHP 15.3K)

It is currently available via the vivo Indian website, Flipkart, and partner store outlets.

No word yet on whether it will become available in the Philippines.
