Xiaomi has officially released the HyperOS 3.0 software upgrade, introducing a variety of new features.

The HyperOS 3 |
Refreshed UI, smarter, and multi-device collaboration
The update includes an updated user interface and expanded artificial intelligence capabilities, with improvements across multiple device functions.

The features |
Observers have noted visual and functional similarities between HyperOS 3.0 and operating systems like MagicOS and iOS.
Among the key features is the Super Island, which displays real-time app activities—such as flight bookings, music playback, timers, and messages—at the top of the screen.
Users can expand the Super Island to access certain functions. Unlike some comparable systems, it can also remain active within the notification panel for continued access to app activities.
The update also introduces redesigned icons, which some observers note bear a resemblance to those found in iOS 18.
Other changes include a revamped status bar and adjustable home screen grids, a feature also present in other operating systems.

Multi-device collaboration |
Xiaomi has replaced the Google dialer with a new dialer app featuring larger icons and has introduced a new Photos app with improved functionality.
The company's Super Xiao AI assistant has received upgrades, with one of the more significant additions being an AI Connect feature.
This function allows Xiaomi devices to share data seamlessly with Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs, enabling activities such as replying to messages from a Xiaomi phone on an iPhone.
