TECNO POVA Slim 5G confirmed to launch on September 4

TECNO releases teasers for its upcoming world's thinnest curved display called the POVA 5G Slim.

TECNO SPARK Slim Concept to launch as POVA Slim 5G?

The said device is going to feature a super slim form factor alongside a 3D curved display and 5G connectivity.

Its rear design sports a familiar pill-shaped camera island with similarities to Wall-E eyes and has a White colorway.

In fact, we've already seen an identical concept back in MWC 2025, but it is specifically called SPARK Slim instead.

It seems that TECNO might be adapting the same concept, but it will be under the more popular POVA line-up for global consumers.

TECNO hasn't shared many details for this upcoming phone except for its AI features, like a writing assistant and a circle to search. Additionally, it will also have no network communication features, allowing users to perform phone calls using Bluetooth.

Meanwhile, there's a leak suggesting that the POVA Slim 5G is not too far from the SPARK Slim concept phone. It is reported to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 5,200mAh battery, and a 50MP rear shooter.

The only difference would be that the POVA Slim 5G is "rumored" to sport a 5.95mm thickness instead of the 5.75mm thin frame from the SPARK Slim.
