The phone's design

OPPO joins the large battery META

The OPPO A6 Max arrived with a sleek design available in Blue or White colorways. It also sports IP66/68/69 dust and water resistance, allowing the device to withstand even high-pressure water jets, and is capable of handling high temperature conditions.

In front, it has a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Crystal Shield Glass.
The display

Inside, the phone sports a 2.5GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip with Adreno GPU, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

Among its highlights is the large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and the 80W USB-C SUPERVOOC charger.

For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP shooter + 2MP depth helper + LED flash. While at the front, it uses a 32MP selfie camera.

Other features mentioned are the large 5,200mm2 vapor chamber for cooling and 300 percent extra-loud speakers.

Connectivity features are WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, dual-band GPS, triple-band Beidou, NFC, and offline communication support.

For OS, the device runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 skin out of the box.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

OPPO A6 Max - CNY 1,599 (around PHP 12.8K)

It is currently available only in China. No word yet if OPPO will bring this to other countries at the moment.
