HONOR MagicPad 3 officially launches in the Philippines apart from the Magic V5.

Powerful PC-like tablet

To recap, this is the brand's flagship tablet here in the Philippines, boasting a slim professional look with a near PC-like experience enhanced with AI.

The tablet is available in gray with a matte finish, a square camera island, and a glossy silver HONOR logo at the center.

The design

In front, it uses a 13.3-inch LCD (IPS) screen with 3.2K 3200 x 2136 resolution, 165Hz dynamic refresh rate with seven adjustable settings from 60Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz.

Furthermore, the tablet has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and 1000 nits peak brightness for HDR viewing. It also has an Oasis Eye Protection Display technology with low blue light emission, global DC dimming, and AI-assisted modes to reduce the strain on users' eyes.

Inside, the MagicPad 3 features sports 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, 16GB RAM + 16GB virtual RAM, and 512GB storage.

It also has a 12,450mAh battery capacity rated with up to 18 hours of video playback. Additionally, the tablet charges using USB-C and a 66W power brick.

In terms of the camera, it has a 13MP rear shooter + 2MP macro helper. On the selfie side, it has a 9MP sensor.

Other features noted are an 8-speaker system, which is capable of delivering a spatial audio effect and a total output of 95W.

Magnetic keyboard and Magic Pencil 3

The tablet also has a magnetic smart keyboard with 1.6mm key travel + pressure-sensitive touchpad. Furthermore, it supports the Magic-Pencil 3 stylus featuring an ink restoration and smart handwriting input.

Connectivity features are WiFi7, Bluetooth 5.4 with LDAC and aptX Adaptive. The WiFi is also enhanced using the 2x high-performance antennas + AI-assisted WiFi aggregation, providing a lag-free experience.

Finally, the tablet runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9 skin on top. HONOR says it has a couple of AI productivity features like the smart PPT generation, voice-to-text transcription with speech identification, and automated meeting summaries.
