The HONOR Magic V5 is the company's newest flagship foldable smartphone, claiming to be the thinnest in the world. Beating its previous record of 9.2mm slim when folded, the new Magic V5 is as slim as 8.8mm when folded. This also makes it slightly thinner than the Find N5 at 8.93mm and Galaxy Z Fold 7 at 8.9mm.

HONOR made this feat possible without compromising the overall specs of the phone.

It highlights the Ultra-Durable Shield-Grade Steel Hinge designed to withstand up to 500,000 folds. It also comes with IP58 and IP59 dust and water resistance certifications as well as glass protections like NanoCyrstal Shield for the outer screen and HONOR's Super Armored Inner Screen for the inner folding display.

The device features a 7.95-inch LTPO OLED screen with FHD+ 2344 x 2175 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate when fully unfolded and a 6.43-inch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ 2376 x 1060 resolution.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core processor with the top-end Adreno GPU. It is paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Despite its super-slim profile for a foldable, HONOR managed to fit a large 5,820mAh silicon carbon battery with USB-C 66W SuperCharge and 50W Wireless SuperCharge support.

The cameras are flagship-worthy too. It sports a triple camera configuration which includes the 50MP f/1.6 Wide Camera w/ OIS + 50MP f/2.0 Ultra Wide Camera + 64MP f/2.5 3x optical zoom w/ OIS + LED flash. This has AI Super Zoom, AI Enhanced Portrait, Motion Sensing Capture, and can record up to 4K 60fps videos.

This also has an updated HONOR Share that can do file transfers even with iOS devices.

It also has Google Gemini Integration, HONOR Notes with live transcription and summarization, AI Image to Video, AI Cutout Tool, and more.

The Magic V5 will receive 5 years of Android OS and security updates.
