HUAWEI just launched its newest budget TWS buds for the masses called the FreeBuds SE 4.

In case you missed our previous report, the FreeBuds SE 4 ANC are the company's most affordable true wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling. This is also the company's first with such premium features at this price point.

Design and PH pricing

In particular, the device features 3-level ANC with General, Cozy, and Ultra Mode. The Ultra mode features up to 50dB of noise cancellation. It also has an  Awareness Mode, allowing you to stay aware of your surroundings.

HUAWEI claims that its ANC is based on insights from over 10,000 ear canal samples for improved overall experience.

It is also said to be durable with SGS certification, which passed 26 stringent tests for durability. Moreover, the device comes with  IP54 dust and water resistance, making it sweatproof for workouts.

Making the wearable even more comfortable is that they only made each bud weigh just 4.3 grams and have 3 sizes of soft silicone tips for a personalized seal.

This uses a 10mm dynamic driver with a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz, promising good overall sound for the price.

It connects via Bluetooth 5.4 with lower latency in gaming proximity pairing when paired with HUAWEI phones running on EMUI 10.0 or HarmonyOS 2.0 or later. Supported codecs are SBC, AAC, and mSBC.

HUAWEI claims that each bud can last up to 10 hours of audio playback. With the charging case, the FreeBuds SE 4 can last up to 50 hours. 10 hours on a single charge under Normal mode and up to 7 hours with ANC or 35 hours with the case.

The device works with HarmonyOS, Android, and iOS, as well as all laptops.
