Acer Iconia X12, X14 announced: 12 or 14-inch displays, up to 256GB storage, 8,000mAh batteries

Acer unveils two tablets from its X Series, namely the X12 and X14.

These devices pack large, clear displays partnered with productivity AI features.

You can differentiate the two from their screens. The X12 uses a 12-inch AMOLED with 2560 x 1600 resolution, while the X14 uses a 14-inch FHD OLED with 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Inside, the X12 uses a 2.2GHz MTK Helio G99 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, while the X14 uses an Allwinner A733 with NPU chip.

The front and back views

Both use 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Though the 14-inch uses a faster UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 RAM.

For the battery, both devices use 8,000mAh, although their charging speeds aren't revealed at the moment.

For cameras, the X12 uses a 13MP rear shooter with AF + 5MP front camera.

The X14 has an 8MP rear camera with AF and a 5MP sensor at the front.

Other features noted are quad speakers and a digital microphone.

Connectivity features are WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 for the X12 and WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for the X14.

For OS, the tablets run Android 15 out of the box. They also have AI Super Resolution, AI Smart Sensing, and Smile Camera.
