HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 is now official

The design |
According to the company, the new HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 is the first in the industry rated for 150-meter diving (20 ATM water resistance) and equipped with sonar-based underwater messaging.
This watch enables watch-to-watch communication up to 30 meters and a one-touch SOS feature down to 60 meters—built for serious explorers, redefining underwater safety and connectivity.
It comes with an octagonal skeletonized ultra-durable zirconium-based Liquid Metal case with a dual-toned nano-techceramic bezel, making it light and stylish yet robust in build.
For comfort, the company added a wave-textured fluoroelastomer strap. The colorways are Blue and Black.

1.5-inch LTPO display underwater |
In front, this has a sapphire glass-protected 1.5-inch LTPO display with 3,500 nits of peak brightness, designed for high clarity under outdoor sunlight.
HUAWEI claims that its compact sonar module enables message exchanges up to 30 metres
Meanwhile, its display is bright enough to be readable even underwater to show critical data at a glance, including depth, time, speed, NDL, PO2, and more.
After the dive, the watch allows users to review records in the app.
Moreover, it has a new, more powerful antenna system that optimizes signals intelligently based on the network usage, whether for eSIM calls or navigation. This also has the HUAWEI Sunflower Positioning System with dual-frequency five-system GNSS for accurate markings for safe return while in Expedition Mode.
The watch also has a new-level Golf Course mode with 17,000+ zoomable course maps worldwide.
The watch also allows for independent eSIM calls (calls even without a phone) with AI noise cancellation.
To simplify everyday tasks like calls, remote photos, and third-party app controls, the company also added Smart Gestures as well as easy QR and NFC code scanning by raising your wrist.
The company also improved its TruSense system with Multi-Sensing X-TAP technology for a more precise and convenient health monitoring, with 3 seconds to open Health Glance. Health Glance offers a comprehensive report with more than 10 key health metrics available in 60 seconds, instant access to real-time blood oxygen levels, access to emotional well-being, Sleep Health, Heart Health, and more.
The watch has a maximum battery life of 18 hours of Dive mode (12 hours with SUC on), 40 hours for Expedition mode, 24 hours for Golf mode, and 22 hours for Trail Run mode.
With power saving mode under light usage, it can last up to 11 days on a single charge.
