The tablet features a unibody metal construction and is available in Graphite Grey, Silver, and Lavender Purple color options. A Matte Glass version with AG nano-texturing is also offered, which is designed to reduce reflections by up to 97 percent.

Furthermore, it also weighs 610 grams and has a thickness of 7.5 millimeters. 

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD display featuring a 2.5K 2560 x 1600 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 600 nits. It also includes support for Dolby Vision, DC dimming, a reading mode, and wet touch technology.

Powering the device is the 2.7GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with an Adreno GPU. 

The colors and display

It is offered in two configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, both utilizing LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 technology. Storage is expandable via a microSD card slot supporting capacities of up to 2TB.

The device also uses a 12,000mAh battery, which is rated for up to 14.2 hours of video playback, 16 hours of reading, or over 105 hours of music streaming. It supports 33W wired fast charging and can also provide up to 27W wired reverse charging to power other devices.

For imaging, the WiFi model includes an 8MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. The 5G variant upgrades the rear camera to a 13MP. Both configurations support 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second.

Additional features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, dual microphones, and a suite of sensors. Support for a keyboard and stylus is available through separate accessories.

Connectivity options consist of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The 5G variant offers connectivity via an eSIM.

Finally, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro runs on Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2. The operating system enables cross-device functionalities such as a shared clipboard, direct phone control, call synchronization, and instant hotspot switching.

The tablet is currently available in Europe and the UAE. No word yet for the PH release at the moment.
