Xiaomi 15T Pro launched: Dimensity 9400+, 50MP Light Fusion 900, 5x telephoto, LEICA lens

After the teasers, Xiaomi 15T Pro goes official with promising almost flagship performance and an upgraded telephoto camera.

It features a simple flat back design, bringing clean yet elegant aesthetics. There's a square camera island with LEICA branding, while below is a Xiaomi printed logo.

It also has three color options, namely Black, Gray, and Mocha Gold.

The phone also boasts a reinforced structure with the 6M13 aluminum alloy frame for enhanced durability against accidental drops. On top of that, the device comes with IP68 dust and water resistance.

The display

Xiaomi 15T Pro also uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K 2772 x 1280 resolution at 447 ppi, 144Hz refresh rate, 2560Hz touch sampling rate, 3,200 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.

Inside, it sports the 3.73GHz 3nm Dimensity 9400+ octa-core processor with Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU.

It is paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

To cool such a powerful chip, Xiaomi implemented the 3D IceLoop system.

Powering the unit is a 5,500mAh Xiaomi Surge Battery with USB-C 90W HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge support.

The cameras

For cameras, it uses a 50MP f/1.63 Light Fusion 900 main sensor with OIS + 50MP JN5 sensor OIS 5x telephoto camera with 10x lossless zoom and 100x digital zoom. It also has a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera.

All three use the LEICA Vario-Summilux 1:1.62-3.0/15-115 aspherical lenses and image tuning for dramatic, precise shots.

Other features are a stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos sound, Hi-Res certifications for both wired and wireless, and 3x microphones.

Connectivity features are WiFi7, dual 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS L1+L5, NFC, and dual SIM.

HyperOS 2.0

For OS, it runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Xiaomi also promises 5 years of major OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

Finally, it has several AI features such as the AI Agent, image and video generation, Gemini overlau, deep research, Gemini Live, and extension circle to search.

To top it off, it also has AI search, Gallery search, writing, recording, interpreter, and subtitles.
