Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro launched in PH: Harman tuning, 5-unit acoustic system, PHP 7,699 SRP

Apart from the Xiaomi 15T Series, the brand also introduces the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds in the Philippines.

Open comfort and Pro Sound

The open-ear wireless earbuds weigh 9.7 grams each and are designed with an emphasis on comfort.

A 0.6mm titanium memory wire is used in the ear hooks, which are stated to withstand over 5,000 bends. The hooks offer a 45mm adjustable range to accommodate different ear shapes. The earbuds also feature a liquid silicone shell and a three-point ergonomic fit system. 

As an open-ear design that does not seal the ear canal, the product is described as more breathable but potentially susceptible to sound leakage.

To address this, an anti-leakage sound system using reverse-phase sound waves has been included, which has received certification from China’s National Institute of Metrology.

The OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds incorporate a five-unit acoustic system. Xiaomi claims that this system is said to include a custom 1813 super-large dynamic woofer for bass, a dual dynamic iron tweeter module, and a piezoelectric ceramic driver for high frequencies. 

Meanwhile, the sound tuning was developed in collaboration with Harman’s Golden Ear team. Available features are listed as multiple EQ presets, spatial audio, and 360-degree head tracking.

Other cited features include Headphone Independent Recording 2.0, enabling direct audio recording while the earbuds are in their case, and support for Chinese-English real-time translation. 

The earbuds also offer gesture controls, an IP54 rating for sweat and rain resistance, and multi-device audio streaming. 

Furthermore, the brand claims its battery life is around 8.5 hours per charge, extending to a total of 45 hours with the included Kona leather-covered charging case.
