A memorable fun run with a feature-packed health tracker
The runners' event took place on August 30 at Filinvest City in Alabang. It is a yearly run organized by the technology company Xiaomi, which attracted approximately 3,500 participants.

Runners could register for 5KM, 10KM, or 21KM half-marathon categories. All registered participants received a kit containing a race bib, shirt, and pace band.

To recap, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is a budget fitness buddy packed with a lot of features you can find on higher-priced smartwatches. Currently, you can get it for a starting price of PHP 2,499.
It features a sleek aluminum alloy body combined with thinner bezels, a bigger and brighter 1.72-inch screen with 520 x 212 resolution and 1,500 nits peak brightness.
Following the run, every finisher was given a medal, a finisher's bag, and an e-certificate. Winners in each category were awarded Xiaomi products.

The watch also features a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, meaning it is designed to withstand pressure equivalent to a depth of 50 meters (165 feet).
Additional features include a linear motor that provides customizable vibrations for notifications such as calls and alarms.
The device offers over 200 watch faces, enhanced sleep management with personalized guidance, and more than 150 sports modes, including an advanced swimming mode and heart rate broadcast functionality.
Xiaomi claims it has a battery life of up to 21 days on a single charge, with a full charge taking approximately one hour. It connects via the Mi Fitness app and is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 or later and iOS 12.0 or later.

The Xiaomi Pop Run, which originated in China as the Xiaomi Orange Run, was first held in 2018. The Philippine edition of the event is adapted from this domestic Chinese-run event, which is a popular offline activity for the brand's followers. The run is positioned as an event that aligns with the company's focus on technology designed for health and fitness.
