OnePlus Ace 6 launched: SD 8 Elite, 7,800mAh battery, 50MP Sony IMX906

The OnePlus Ace 6 officially launches in China featuring near flagship internals.

High-performance gaming made affordable

The smartphone is available in three color options: Quick Silver, Racing Black, and Flash White. Additionally, it has an IP66/68/69K rating for dust and water resistance.

It features a 6.83-inch flat OLED display with a 2800 x 1272 resolution at 450ppi, 165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, full DCI-P3 gamut coverage, and a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. 

It also features TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Protection 5.0, low-flicker PWM dimming, and DC-dimming as well as AI blink reminders, adaptive color temperature, a sunlight mode, and a night reading mode.

The display

The device is powered by the 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core chip with Adreno GPU. 

This is complemented by a WindChaser Gaming Engine and an eSports Triple-Chip setup, which includes a dedicated performance chip, a G2 network chip, and a Lingxi touch chip.

Memory configurations offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone is equipped with a dual-cell 7,800mAh battery supporting 120W SuperVOOC wired charging. OnePlus claims it can charge to 50% in 16 minutes and achieve a full charge in 43 minutes. It also features bypass charging for reduced heat during gameplay and supports multiple fast-charging standards, including UFCS, PPS, PD, and QC.

The rear camera system consists of a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS and EIS, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It supports 4K video recording at up to 120fps. The front-facing camera uses a 16MP sensor for 1080p video at 30fps.

Others mentioned are an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an X-axis haptic motor, and dual stereo speakers with OReality Audio effects.

Connectivity options include WiFi 7, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4 with LHDC 5.0, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

Finally, the phone runs on ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, which introduces AI-based features such as AI Flash Notes and cross-device collaboration capabilities.
