vivo Pad5e launched: SD8sG3, 12-inch 144Hz 2.8K LCD, 8MP rear camera, and 10,000mAh battery

vivo introduced the latest member of its Pad5 series, equipped with a 12.1-inch LCD screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, and a 6.62mm thick body.

Mid-range variant of the Pad5 series

Alongside the launch of the new vivo X300 and X300 Pro, the brand also introduced the new Pad5e mid-range tablet, which supports the vivo Pencil 3 and Smart Touch Keyboard 5.

The tablet features an integrated metal body design. It measures 266.43 x 192 x 6.62mm and weighs 584 grams. 

In front is the 12.05-inch LCD screen with a 2,800 x 1,968 resolution, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports DC Dimming, and select models feature the soft light eye-protection (reduces reflective glare).

Inside is the 3.3 GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor, 8GB/12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1/ 256GB/512GB UFS 4.1 storage, and a 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back is an 8MP rear camera, while the front features a 5MP selfie camera.

Other features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, and OTG.

It features several new vivo-developed Smart AI features and limited compatibility with Windows and Mac. The brand says that it can work as an extended screen and can remotely control PCs or remotely connect to Mac/Windows computers to complete document editing/uploading/downloading, application operation, computer shutdown, and more.

The new tablet is available for pre-order in China and will be available in stores on October 17, 2025.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
