Converge launches 1Gbps plan for Just PHP 2,599/month—fastest at this price in PH

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. revealed the most affordable 1Gbps plan in the Philippines.

Upgraded speed at a lower price

The launch expands the company's Super FiberX and GameChanger lineups, which the company states are designed to address growing connectivity demands for homes and gamers in the Philippines.

Plan Upgrades and new tiers

The main highlight was the announcement of the Super FiberX Ultra plan. It now offers speeds of up to 1 Gbps, an increase of 200 Mbps from its previous 800 Mbps, while maintaining its monthly price of PHP 2,599. 

This also makes as the most affordable 1Gbps plan in the Philippines, thus providing users with unparalleled speed and price at the same time.

Perks of getting a Converge plan

A new tier, Super FiberX Prime, was also introduced. Priced at PHP 2,099 per month, it offers speeds of up to 800 Mbps, providing an additional option within the Super FiberX portfolio.

New gaming-focused plan

For the gaming segment, Converge unveiled GameChanger EZ, a new pure-fiber plan priced at PHP 1,800 per month. It provides speeds of up to 400 Mbps and includes a feature called "network gaming prioritization."

Converge claims this technology is designed to prioritize gaming traffic on the network to reduce latency and lag, particularly during peak usage hours. This feature is currently exclusive to Converge's GameChanger plans.

The first 100 subscribers to sign up for GameChanger EZ before December 31, 2025, will receive a complimentary TUF Gaming Mouse and PHP 250 worth of Razer Gold credits.

Promotional raffle

To mark the launch, Converge is holding a "Christmas to the Power of X" raffle for new FiberX subscribers. Customers who successfully subscribe between November 15 and December 31, 2025, will be eligible to win one of 300 Samsung 55-inch QLED TVs, each valued at approximately PHP 34,000. The draw for winners is scheduled for January 15, 2026.

The following plans were detailed in the announcement:

• Super FiberX Ultra - PHP 2,599/mo (with up to 1Gbps, WiFi 6 Modem, Xperience Hub, and SkyTV Premium (86 channels)
• Super FiberX Prime - PHP 2,099/mo (with up to 800Mbps, WiFi 6 Modem, Xperience Hub, and SkyTV Standard (60 channels)
• Super FiberX Max - PHP 1,599 (Up to 400Mbps, WiFi 6 Modem, Xperience Hub, and SkyTV Standard (60 channels)
• GameChanger EZ - PHP 1,800 (Up to 400Mbps, Network Gaming Prioritization, WiFi 6 Modem, Xperience Hub, and SkyTV Standard (60 channels)

All listed plans include a WiFi 6 modem and the Converge Xperience Hub, a Google-certified Android TV box that supports 4K streaming and applications such as YouTube, Spotify, and Netflix.

With these updates, Converge aims to bolster its offerings in the competitive home and gaming broadband markets.
