vivo has announced the Y500 Pro smartphone, a new mid-range smartphone with a high megapixel camera and an enhanced battery.

Improved sensor and battery
The new device is available in color options such as Auspicious Gold, Light Green, Soft Pink, and Titanium Black.
The vivo Y500 Pro packs a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
Inside, it is powered by a 2.6GHz 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 8-core processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The handset is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery that supports USB-C 90W wired fast charging.
For photography, the rear camera system includes a 200MP Samsung HP5 main sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor, and an Aura Light for better exposure on your subject. The front-facing camera uses a 32-megapixel sensor.
Other features include an IR blaster and ratings for water and dust resistance.
Connectivity options comprise WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.
Finally, the device runs on the Android 16 operating system with OriginOS 6 skin on top.
