Global HUAWEI FreeClip 2 is now official

HUAWEI set the trend with its FreeClip earbuds in 2024, debuting the innovative C-shaped design that competitors have since been inspired by.

The new HUAWEI FreeClip 2 improves upon its predecessor with a seemingly refined design with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, updated 10.8mm dual-diaphragm drivers, a third-generation Kirin A3 audio chip, and an NPU AI processor.

According to the company, it has a 100 percent increase in audio and low-frequency power. They also managed to reduce the head movement tracking latency by 40 percent to better follow the user's movement and create a more cinematic-like listening experience.

They made the C-bridge made with skin-friendly liquid silicon and shape-memory alloy 25 percent softer for a more comfortable wearing experience. Each bud weighs just 5.1 grams, and they made the Comfort Bean 11 percent smaller for a better fit.

It is available in White, Blue, and Black colorways.

It also has an Adaptive Volume tech that automatically adjusts volume and Adaptive Voice Enhancement to make conversations and audiobooks clearer.

The device also promises Crystal-clear Calls with its 3-mic call noise cancellation system and multi-channel DNN algorithms. Even with an open-ear design, HUAWEI promises the sound will be delivered directly to the user's ears.

The device has multi-point gesture control, like tapping the ball, the C-bridge handle, and a comfort head for different tasks. It connects via Bluetooth 6.0 with Dual-device connections and has Celia AI for plenty of tasks like answering calls, simplifying alerts and long messages, gesture remote control, face-to-face translation, and many more.

It also has auto Left-right Recognition, so the user can wear either bud in either ear.

The device has up to 38 hours of battery life with the case. The case of the buds is now squarish instead of the usual oval-shaped design with denim texture.
