OPPO Pad Air 5 launched: 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.8K screen, 4nm Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, 6.83mm slim

Chinese mobile giant OPPO yesterday launched its newest super-slim mid-range tablet, the OPPO Pad Air 5.

OPPO Pad Air 5 is now official

The OPPO Pad Air 5 features a sleek-looking frame that is as thin as 6.83mm (WiFi) and weighs 597 to 599 grams (5G).

The display is relatively large. It uses a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 540Hz touch sampling rate, 2.8K 2800 x 1980 resolution at 283 ppi, and 900 nits of peak brightness. It also has a 7:5 aspect ratio and a 98 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

It has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for Intelligent Eye Care Protection thanks to its Full Brightness DC Dimming, Hardware-Level Low Blue Light, Smart Ambient Light Color Temperature, Light Color Mode, and Full Brightness Light-Like Display.

A big display

Inside, it is powered by the 2.6GHz MTK 4nm Dimensity 7300-Ultra with Mali-G615 MP2, a mobile chip known to be power-efficient. It is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The tablet has a large 10,050mAh battery capacity with USB-C 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

All-day battery life

In the camera department, it sports an 8MP main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. It can record up to 1080p videos.

It connects via WiFi 6, optional 5G, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS.

The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 skin on top.
