Canon launches Photomarathon 2026 with a grand prize of up to Canon EOS R6 Mark III

Canon is calling out photographers to join its Photomarathon 2026, a photography competition happening at BGC, Taguig this coming April 18, 2026. Those who will join will have a chance to win a Canon camera immediately in the venue.

Categories and Mechanics

Below are the three categories for the Canon Photomarathon 2026:

• Open Photo Category - As per the brand, this will be open to all users, meaning you dont actually have to own a Canon camera to join.
• Video Category - This is also open to all users but this time, Canon is adding a new twist for the event and you need to capture using a video on your subject. There's also an exclusive prize for a Canon user here.
• Main Photo Category - Ofcourse, there will be an exclusive segment for Canon camera users.

• Open Photo Category - The grand prize for this is a Canon EOS R8 body + RF 24-50mm f/4.5 to 6.3 IS STM lens.
• Video Category - For open to all users, the prize is a Canon PowerShot V1, For Canon users, the prize is a Canon EOS R50 V.
• Main Photo Category - Exclusive to Canon users, the grand prize is an EOS R6 Mark III with RF 24-105mm f/4 to 7.1 IS STM lens.

• Go to the events tab and register to CPM Event
• Wait for the confirmation prompt
