Fastest average speeds, lowest latency
The Department of Information and Communications Technology's (DICT) December 2025 assessment named Converge ICT Solutions Inc. the country’s best national broadband provider.
Citing the DICT report, the Daily Tribune reported that Converge delivered the fastest average speeds, lowest latency, and most consistent broadband performance among all providers last month.
The analysis was conducted under DICT's Oplan Bantay Signal program. This monitors and analyzes network performance nationwide to assess service quality and coverage effectiveness.
Converge ICT's performance sets the national benchmark for fixed broadband excellence. The company demonstrates that fiber infrastructure can deliver consistent, high-quality service across diverse geographic conditions, DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said in the report.
Converge logged an average speed of 193.61 Mbps in Metro Manila, based on nearly 700,000 speed tests conducted across the capital region.
The department also noted Converge’s performance across key indicators, including the best average download speed, best upload speed, and latency of 10.67 milliseconds.
Despite this achievement, Converge Chief Operations Officer Benjamin Azada assured that the company continues to improve its services.
He also recognized the points of improvement that the DICT mentioned.
They also called our attention to specific areas where we need to improve our performance. We recognize this call and we pledge to focus our attention on these areas experiencing low or intermittent connectivity; yearly we allocate a budget not just for network expansion but also repair and recovery. We will put these investments to good use, Azada said.
