Confirmed: High-end HUAWEI Mate X7 is coming to the Philippines on February 19

Chinese tech giant HUAWEI earlier confirmed that the high-end Mate X7 foldable smartphone is officially coming to the Philippines on February 19, 2026.

HUAWEI Mate X7 to launch in PH soon

First launched in China in November 2025, the HUAWEI Mate X7 promises to deliver a sleek design, durability, flagship cameras, and powerful performance in a single foldable device.

HUAWEI foldables since 2019

The handset is wrapped in premium vegan leather, featuring the new Time-Space Gate camera design, available in Nebula Red and Black. It uses a 360-degree Protection with Crystal Armour Kunlun Glass on the outer display and a 3-layer composite ultra-tough inner screen. 

HUAWEI also highlights that it has an Advanced Precision Hinge and an aviation-grade aluminum frame that ensure resilience, while IP59 and IP58 ratings protect against dust, splashes, and even submersion in up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes.

The foldable experience is powered by HUAWEI’s X-True Display technology, with an 8-inch inner screen (LTPO 1-120Hz, 2416 x 2210 resolution), with Live Multitask enabling up to three app windows at once, and a 6.49-inch outer screen (LTPO 1-120Hz, 2444 x 1080).

In the camera department, the handset features a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera for sharp clarity in any light, and a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera for versatile zoom and close-up shots.  HUAWEI said that this True-to-Colour Camera technology has a 43% better color reproduction.

On the imaging front, the Mate X7 introduces a True-to-Colour Camera with a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera for sharp clarity in any light, and a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera for versatile zoom and close-up shots. 

Performance is backed by a 5,600mAh Silicon-Carbon Anode Battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless SuperCharge, ensuring reliable endurance.

HUAWEI revealed that the device also supports a robust app ecosystem via HUAWEI AppGallery, including essentials like Google apps, GCash, BPI, BDO, Facebook, YouTube, and Angkas.

HUAWEI Philippines hasn't revealed the exact chip yet, but if this is the same as the global variant, it will be powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro nine-core processor.

Early preview

There will be an exclusive preview of the HUAWEI Mate X7 and FreeClip 2 on February 14-15 and 21-22 at select HUAWEI Experience Stores. Interested customers may reserve the slot at this link.

They may also deposit a PHP 1,000 fee on the HUAWEI Online Store from February 9 to 18 and get PHP 12,000 off when you pay the remaining balance from February 19 to 27. Plus, get a chance to win a DJI Neo drone.

There are early bird vouchers worth PHP10,000 online starting February 9 to 18 on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.

Apart from the HUAWEI Mate X7, HUAWEI will also launch the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026, HUAWEI FreeClip 2, and other "innovative products" on February 19.
