OPPO A6 5G launched: Dimensity 6300, 120Hz HD+ LCD, 50MP rear camera

OPPO introduced the next variant of its popular A series in India.

The new phone measures 166.6 x 78.5 x 8.6mm and weighs 216 grams. It is IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance rated and will be available in either Sakura Pink, Ice White, or Sapphire Blue.

In front is a 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 1,570 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1,125 nits peak brightness.

Inside is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor and the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is cooled with a 3,900mm2 vapor chamber system.

Alongside are the 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 7,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB-C.

At the back is the 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome camera with an LED flash, while in front is the 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GLONASS, GPS, Galileo, QZSS, and dual-SIM.

Running the show is Android 15-based ColorOS 15.

The OPPO A6 5G is now available in India through the OPPO India website and through authorized distributors.

There is no word yet on international or Philippine availability and pricing.
