realme Neo8 confirmed to launch on January 22

After the early teasers this month, realme now revealed the official launch date for the upcoming high-end Neo8.

As per its official announcement, the realme Neo8 is scheduled to debut in China on January 22.

realme noted that the phone will feature a Samsung M14 OLED display with a peak brightness reaching of up to 6,500 nits and a 165Hz refresh rate. 

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which the brand boasts can reach 3.58M points in the AnTuTu benchmark.

Based on recent leaks, the Neo8 is expected to have a 6.78-inch screen, a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. 

On the selfie side, it is reported to feature a 16MP front-facing camera.

The device is also rumored to house an 8,000mAh battery + 80W fast charging, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
