realme Neo8 will launch this January featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

realme says it will launch the Neo8 gaming smartphone in China later this month.

While a specific release date was not provided, the company has shared preliminary details regarding the device's design and key details.

As per the teaser, the phone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 system-on-chip. The promotional material also suggests the device has recorded a benchmark score of 3.58 million.

The image also reveals a "Cyber Purple" color variant while also showing its camera array with three sensors. It is also accompanied by an RGB lighting element, which the brand calls it as the Awakening Halo system. 

Furthermore, the design incorporates a metal frame and a transparent glass back panel.

Separate rumors suggest the realme Neo8 may feature an 8,000mAh battery and a Samsung display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Reports also indicate a potential "Infinite" edition of the phone could be under development.
