We received one of them, the best of the Series, the REDMI NOTE 15 Pro+ 5G.

Unfortunately, the software of our unit is not yet the retail version, so we have limited information about the new smartphone.

But conveniently, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G was already released in Europe with key specifications.

While the Philippine variant of the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G could be slightly different, we won't be surprised if they have a lot in common.

To recap, the EU variant features an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K dust and water-resistant body, 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 2712 x 1220 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, an In-Display fingerprint sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor, 6,500mAh large battery, USB-C 100W fast wired charging, a 200MP main cam, and a 32MP selfie cam.

The Philippine variant of the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G could be slightly different.

Let's take a closer look and open the box.

The box also says that it is running on HyperOS and that the unit we received comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage.

Similar to many modern smartphones, unfortunately, the box does not include earphones.

Build Quality/Design

At first glance, the phone is immediately eye-catching because of its unique camera bump, its squarish shape with curves, and its black frosted rear panel design.

On the camera bump is the "200MP OIS Camera," while near the bottom of the rear panel are the REDMI branding and regulatory information.

In front is the bright screen with curved corners and a 60 to 120Hz refresh rate.

Around the panel are slim symmetrical bezels. Above the punch hole is the slim earpiece.

The SIM tray accommodates up to two nano SIM cards. There is a red rubber gasket that indicates some form of water resistance.

On the left is a smooth surface, while on the right is the black metal volume rocker and black metal power button. Both have a satisfying feel when clicked.

Upon a closer look at the rear camera module, there are two cameras and an LED flash. It is safe to say that the main camera is the 200MP sensor, while the other camera is an ultra-wide camera based on the shape of the external lens element of the second camera.

Because there are two sets of speaker grills, it has stereo speakers.
