Global REDMI Note 15 Pro+ features a bigger 200MP sensor and faster charging tech

Xiaomi sub-brand REDMI today launched the global version of the Note 15 Pro+.

Compared to the Chinese variant launched in August, GSMArena reported that the phone has an upgraded 200MP HPE main shooter with up to 4x in-sensor zoom instead of 50MP Light Fusion 800 with OIS. The charging speed was increased to USB-C 100W from 90W.

However, they removed the 50MP f/2.5 telephoto camera. The 7,000mAh battery was trimmed down to 6,500mAh silicon-carbon.

It is also said to be thicker than the Chinese variant.

It comes with a 6.83-inch large screen

The display is a 6.83-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a slightly different resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels. It is also protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus 2 instead of Dragon Crystal Glass.

The rest of the specs are similar. The device comes with an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB internal storage, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, 32MP selfie cam, and Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner for better signal (WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and cellular).

The handset is available in Black, Mocha Brown, and Glacier Blue colors.
