Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition launched with revamped design

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition for the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

According to Samsung, approximately 3,800 competing athletes will receive one of these limited devices.

The Korean tech giant says the design commemorates athlete participation. It features a blue rear panel described as aligning with the Milano Cortina 2026 style and a gold metal frame intended to symbolize the pursuit of excellence.

The device includes a clear protective case adorned with a motif of gold laurel leaves. It also comes pre-loaded with a suite of applications tailored for athletes, such as tools for digital profile exchange, access to competition information, and mental health support.

Inside the box

From the ground up, it is still the same device. The phone features a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1048 x 948 resolution. Its main screen features a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X folding panel with 2520 x 1080 resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate.

Inside is a Samsung Exynos 2500 chip with 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, a 4,300mAh battery, USB-C 25W fast charging, and wireless charging.

The device features a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with Dual-Pixel AF and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera on the cover screen, alongside an LED flash. A 10MP f/2.2 selfie camera is housed within the punch-hole cutout of the inner display.

Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for nanoSIM and eSIM connectivity. It is equipped with 5G, LTE, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7 will also integrate the Now Bar, Now Brief, and Gemini Live features through its FlexWindow interface.
