Crunchyroll Premium Fan and Mega Fan subscription price increase starts this Feb 1

Crunchyroll announces upcoming price increase for its Fan and Mega Fan subscription plans in the Philippines.

Are you a Fan or a Mega Fan?

The Fan tier will increase from the previous price of PHP 79 to PHP 99 (+Tax) per month, while the Mega Fan Tier will increase from PHP 99 to 119 (+Tax) per month.

The Fan tier includes no ads, complete access to Crunchyroll's library, new episodes shortly after airing in Japan, stream on a total of 1 device at a time, and Offline Viewing. The Mega Fan allows for up to 4 devices streaming at the same time and gives users access to the Crunchyroll Game Vault.

Crunchyroll also gives users the option to purchase annually, which supposedly costs 41 percent less. This means Fan subscribers only pay PHP 699 (+Tax) per year or PHP 58.25 (+Tax) per month. If you are a Mega Fan subscriber, you only need to pay PHP 849 (+Tax) per year or PHP 70.75 (+Tax) per month while getting the same benefits as the monthly plan.

Crunchyroll has yet to confirm whether or not the Ultimate Fan subscription tier will continue to be offered in the Philippines.
