Mobile business fuels revenue growth
The group's revenues, however, logged modest growth at PHP 165.07 billion from PHP 165.01 billion a year ago.
The mobile business recorded PHP 116.850 billion in service revenues, fueling Globe’s topline. It ended 2025 with a total mobile subscriber base of 65.8 million, up 8 percent from 60.9 million.
Its home broadband unit likewise booked a slight growth, with revenues hitting PHP 23.980 billion.
The corporate data business also contributed PHP 20.671 billion, buoyed by information and communications technology solutions.
Fixed line voice revenues, on the other hand, fell by 17 percent to PHP 1.251 billion due to lower outbound usage. Non-telco portfolio, meanwhile, pitched in PHP 2.326 billion in revenues.
Globe's equity share in Mynt, the parent company of mobile wallet giant GCash, reached PHP 6.10 billion for 2025.
Mynt was a significant contributor to Globe's earnings and a cornerstone of its digital ecosystem, supporting the country's ongoing digital and financial inclusion efforts, said Globe.
Despite the decline in its bottom line, Globe president and chief executive officer Carl Raymond Cruz remained optimistic about keeping the company's dominance in the local market.
As digital becomes part of daily life, Globe's mission remains clear: to anticipate our customers' needs and deliver meaningful innovation that improves lives, empowers communities, and supports the country's broader push toward digitalization and inclusive growth, said Cruz.
