A successor to the REDMI K Pad appears to be in development, according to new industry reports.

Upgraded chip and speakers?

The original model launched in June of last year as the brand’s premier small tablet.

The device, tentatively referred to as the REDMI K Pad 2, is rumored to launch before the end of June. Reports indicate it will retain an 8.8-inch LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and 3008 x 1880 resolution, matching its predecessor.

Key details are said to include an upgrade to the Dimensity 9500 chipset and a larger 9,000 mAh battery. The previous model featured a Dimensity 9400+ processor and a 7,500 mAh battery.

Additional reported features include dual X-axis vibration motors and enhanced symmetrical dual speakers, which may carry Bose branding in a style similar to the POCO F8 Ultra. Although, the leak did not mentioned whether the tablet will include a subwoofer.

As the first-generation Redmi K Pad was rebranded as the Xiaomi Pad Mini in certain markets outside China, industry observers suggest the successor could similarly be released internationally as the Xiaomi Pad Mini 2.

  1. That REDMI K Pad 2 leak sounds legit on paper—Dimensity 9500 plus Bose-tuned speakers with an 8.8" 165Hz display is exactly the kind of compact powerhouse people have been waiting for, and if it really lands before June ends, it could be a solid pick for gaming and binge sessions on the go; honestly, devices like this are why folks keep hunting simple ways to enjoy content anywhere, which is also why you see so many people searching for things like youcine apk to keep their watchlists handy when they’re away from home.
