vivo V70 launched in PH: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 + 50MP Super Telephoto ZEISS camera, PHP 31,999 starting price

As scheduled, the vivo V70 goes official in the Philippines.

Improved zoom range with ZEISS lenses

The vivo V70 is available in two color finishes: Alpine Gray and Golden Hour. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing resistance against dust and the ability to withstand submersion in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.

In front, the vivo V70 features a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K 2750 x 1260 resolution,120Hz refresh rate, and 4320Hz PWM dimming, with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and thin bezels.

Powering the device is a 2.8GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with an Adreno GPU. 

It is available with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. A 4,200mm² vapor chamber cooling system is integrated to manage heat during extended use.

The vivo V70 is also equipped with a 6,500mAh BlueVolt battery that supports 90W USB-C FlashCharge for rapid charging.

The camera system, developed in partnership with ZEISS, includes a dual rear setup. It comprises a 50MP OIS main camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto camera. 

For selfies, there is a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera with autofocus and a 92-degree field of view.

The ZEISS Multi-Focal Portrait system offers multiple portrait focal lengths, including 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm. These modes provide various bokeh effects, such as hexagonal, triangular, and swirling patterns.

Additional features include an AI Audio Noise Eraser for isolating voices from background noise in recordings and Flip Cards, which generate gyroscope-based visual effects on the screen.

For connectivity, the phone supports WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM functionality.

vivo OriginOS

The vivo V70 runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. Furthermore, the software integrates AI-driven tools, including AI Creation, AI Captions for meeting transcriptions, and Gemini Assistant. 

Multitasking features include Origin Island drag-and-drop and One-Tap Transfer for cross-device file sharing. Vivo has committed to providing four generations of Android updates and six years of security patches for the device.
