A milestone for luxury electrified vehicles in the Philippines?
Denza was founded in China in 2010 as a joint venture between BYD and Mercedes-Benz (then Daimler). It was created to blend BYD's cutting-edge battery and electric drive technology with Mercedes-Benz's expertise in premium vehicle design and safety. The brand officially launched in 2012, and after Mercedes-Benz fully exited the partnership in 2024, Denza became a wholly owned subsidiary of BYD.
The brand says that it is guided by its philosophy, "Technology Drives Elegance." Denza aims to redefine executive travel by combining advanced electrification, sophisticated design, and unparalleled comfort, perfect for discerning Filipino buyers seeking a refined alternative to traditional luxury MPVs.

This setup enables smooth, confident acceleration, a top speed of 180km/h, and all-wheel drive capability. Drivers can expect a range of up to 980 kilometers on a full tank and a fully charged battery. This makes it ideal for both daily commutes in Manila traffic and long weekend getaways.
