Xiaomi Pad 8, 8 Pro could debut globally soon, spotted on Geekbench

Xiaomi Pad 8 Series surfaces in the Geekbench database, indicating an international release is likely around the corner.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, bearing the model number 25091RP04G, was benchmarked using Geekbench 6.5, achieving a single-core score of 2,940 and a multi-core score of 8,759.

Consistent with the Chinese variant launched in September, the global model is listed with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The prototype used for testing featured 8GB of RAM, which serves as the base configuration in China, with options extending to 16GB.

While final specifications for international markets remain unconfirmed, the Chinese model includes an 11.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, storage of up to 512GB, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 9,200 mAh battery + 67W wired charging.

On the other hand, the base model Pad 8 was also spotted in Geekbench, it also sports nearly the same features except the processor choice, which is a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.

It had recorded 1,877 points for single-core and 5,106 points for multi-core on Geekbench.

Finally, it also operates on Android 16 with the HyperOS 3 interface.

A likely venue for its global announcement is the upcoming event for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra's international debut.

Based on previous launch patterns, this event is expected to occur in Barcelona, Spain, approximately one to two days before the start of Mobile World Congress on March 2.
