Nothing Headphone (a) now official in PH: 40mm driver, Hi-Res sound, PHP 10,490

Alongside the Nothing (4a) Series, Digital Walker today also launched the Headphone (a).

Nothing Headphone (a) arrives in PH

The Nothing Headphone (a) is the more affordable version of the Nothing Headphone (1) from last year. 

To make the cost more affordable, the Nothing Headphone (a) uses plastic materials instead of metal.

But the general build is still premium and designed to be comfortable. The headphones use memory foam in the ear cushions and weigh slightly less at 310 grams for extended comfort.

It even comes with IP52 dust and water resistance and is available in Yellow, Pink, Black, and White colors.

Inside, the Headphone (a) is built around 40mm drivers with a titanium-coated diaphragm. 

According to the company, this material increases driver rigidity, which is intended to reduce distortion and support audio clarity. 

Design of Nothing Headphone (a)

It has 4 microphones in total to allow adaptive ANC of up to 40dB.  

The device offers three ANC levels—low, medium, and high—plus a transparency mode for environmental awareness. 

There is also a 3-mic AI algorithm for calls.

It connects with Bluetooth 5.4 and supports AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs. Since it has LDAC, Nothing managed to secure a Hi-Res audio certification for these headphones.

Through the Nothing X app, users can access an eight-band equalizer for more granular sound adjustments.

The ear cups feature physical controls—a Roller, Paddle, and Button. There is also a new Channel Hop function that lets users switch apps or features with the button, which also doubles as a remote camera shutter.

Nothing rates battery life at up to five days of playback per charge, with a quick five‑minute top‑up delivering around five hours of use
