Nothing Phone (4a) now official in PH: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, 50MP 3.5x telephoto, Glyph Bar, and PHP 21,990 starting price

Weeks after its international debut, the Nothing Phone (4a) finally arrives in the Philippines through Digital Walker.

Proper mid-range Nothing (a) Series

The phone is made of a combination of glass and aluminum details that measures 163.9 x 77.5 x 8.5mm and 205 grams. It is IP64 dust and water resistance rated and has been tested for up to 25cm for up to 20 minutes.

With lights off

The back of the phone features the signature see-through design with select components visible. Instead of the previous generation's Glyph lights or the Pro version's Glyph Matrix, the Phone (4a) now features the Glyph Bar with 63 mini LEDs.

In front is a 6.78-inch Flexible AMOLED screen with a 2720 x 1224 resolution, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of up to 2,500Hz, and a PWM frequency of 2160Hz. It is a 10-bit panel and covers 1.07 billion colors, and it has a 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio. It is Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protected and comes with an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside the phone is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor, a vapor chamber cooling system, 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast wired charging via USB-C. It is also capable of 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.88 main camera with a 1/1.57-inch sensor, OIS, and PDAF, a 50MP f/2.88 3.5x Periscope telephoto camera with a 1/2.75-inch sensor, OIS, and PDAF, and an 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide angle camera with a 1/4-inch sensor with an LED flash.

In front is the 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera with a 1/3.44-inch sensor. 

Other features include a linear haptic motor, 4G LTE, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and stereo speakers.

Running the show is NothingOS 4.1, based on Android 16.
