nubia confirms with team GIZGUIDE that its recently announced Neo 5 Series will have long software support.

Long software support
As mentioned by nubia, the Neo 5 Series will receive up to 2 major OS upgrades and up to 5 years of security patches.
All models in the series start with Android 16, so they will enjoy it until Android 18.

After the promised 2-year OS upgrades, the devices will continue to receive security updates until 2031. This is vital for maintaining the phone against malicious attacks, malware, and unauthorized data access.
The updates will also ensure that the phones will remain optimized and bring smooth performance even after a long period.
The latter is the brand's highlight model thanks to the Active Cooling Fan inside and its very large heat dissipation area covering 29,508 mm², the first in its under PHP 20K price point.
It also boasts a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel, 1.5K 2720 x 1224 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
