POCO C85x 5G launched: 6.9-inch 120Hz screen, UNISOC T8300, and 32MP main camera

After last year's POCO C85 5G, POCO introduced in India the new POCO C85x 5G.

The new POCO C85x 5G looks significantly better than the vanilla C85 4G and C85 5G with its gold contrast trim and vertical pill-shaped camera module. It comes in Black, Gold, and Green. Both the Gold and Green colorways have a gold contrast frame over the black frame on the black colorway. It measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 8.15mm and weighs 210 grams. It is also IP52 dust and water-resistant.

In front of the phone is a 6.9-inch screen with a 1,600 x 720 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 810 nits peak brightness, and DC Dimming. It is TUV Rheinland Low. Light and Flicker Free certified.

Inside is the 6nm UNISOC T8300 octa-core processor, an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, a 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.2 storage, a microSD Card expansion, and a 6,300mAh battery with 15W fast charging, and 7.5W reverse wired charging.

At the back of the Phone is the 32MP main camera and a secondary camera with an LED flash, while in front is the 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Other features include dual-Nano SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, and USB-C.

Running the show is Android 16-based Xiaomi HyperOS.
