Following the introduction of the POCO C85 4G, the brand also unveiled a 5G model.

Budget 5G with a big battery

The POCO C85 5G is currently the brand's latest entry-level 5G model in the company's C-series, highlighting a large display, long battery life, and some durability.

The smartphone is available in three color options: Power Black, Spring Green, and Mystic Purple. Furthermore, POCO added an IP64 dust and water resistance rating to shield it against water splashes or dirt.

In front is a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 810 nits. The screen carries certifications for low blue light emission, flicker reduction, and circadian comfort.

The POCO C85 5G is powered by the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB/6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 expandable storage.

It is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery with USB-C 33W wired fast charging, and 10W wired reverse charging.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a secondary lens. An 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Connectivity options comprise WiFI (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS + GLONASS, and dual SIM.

The phone runs on HyperOS 2.2 based on Android 15. The company also promises two major Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

The device is currently available in India via Flipkart. There's no word yet for other markets at the moment.
