Enhanced AI experience

The announcements align with the company's "Practical AI" framework, which has guided its product development for emerging markets since its introduction in 2024. The strategy focuses on developing AI capabilities that enhance productivity and provide accessible creative tools through localized applications.

According to company data presented at the event, TECNO processed more than 500 million user requests in 2025, including approximately 100 million image-processing tasks. More than half of all interactions occurred in non-English languages.

Localization and integration efforts

TECNO outlined continued investment in language localization and cultural adaptation, deeper integration with regional digital ecosystems, and AI applications in health and education sectors.

The company reported becoming the first industry player to support Hausa language integration, while also improving recognition accuracy for African-accented English and French. Offline capabilities for English and French have been implemented to maintain AI functionality across varying network conditions.

At its MWC exhibition space, the company is demonstrating multilingual capabilities including mixed Hindi-English recognition and support for both Standard Arabic and the Iraqi dialect, developed through regional partnerships.

Functionality demonstrations include mobile data plan purchases through TECNO AI in select markets, alongside taxi-hailing and food ordering integrations in other regions. The company also showcased an experimental GUI Agent designed to complete tasks autonomously based on user prompts.

Health and education features demonstrated on the latest CAMON 50 Series include non-contact facial scans for health monitoring. Updated AI Problem Solving features offer two modes: one supporting independent student learning and another assisting parents with tutoring children. Additional tools include One-Tap FlashMemo for information organization and AI MindHub for research and learning support.
