MWC 2026: TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra 5G now official - Dimensity 7400 Ultimate, Sony 50MP LYTIA 700C sensor, and IP69K

TECNO returns to Mobile World Congress to introduce imaging-focused CAMON 50 Ultra 5G with a 6,500mAh battery and a Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra Night Camera.

The phone features a curved front and rear glass panel with a two-tone rear panel design that separates the camera module from the rest of the back. Both panels are Corning Gorilla Glass protected. At the top left-hand corner is the vertical, pill-shaped camera module, which houses three of the rear camera sensors. Beside it is the fourth camera and the LED flash. It is 7.75mm thick and 181 grams.

It is made of both metal and glass and will be available in either Misty Purple, Luminous Orange, Cypress Green, Moonshadow Black, or Nebula Titanium. It is IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance rated.

In front of the phone is the 6.78-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 2,644 x 1,208 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Below it is the fingerprint scanner.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate octa-core processor, 8GB/12GB RAM, 8GB/12GB Extended RAM, and a 6,500mAh battery with a 45W Super Charge via USB-C.

TECNO CAMON 50 Ultra's rear camera module

At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.8 main camera with the 1/1.56-inch Sony LYTIA 700C Ultra sensor, the 50MP f/2.4 3x Telephoto camera with a 1/2.88-inch sensor, the 8MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide with 5cm macro, and the Flicker sensor with an LED Flash.

While in front is the 50MP front-facing camera.

Other features include an IR blaster, Dolby Atmos, Stereo speakers, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and 5G.

Out of the box, it is running on Android 16-based HiOS 16 and features TECNO's Ella AI assistant. 

It comes with the 45W wall charger, USB Type-A to Type-C cable, a glass-like screen protector, and a leather-like protective case.
