Putting the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank to the test with the Xiaomi 17, the experience was all about convenience.

The 15W wireless fast charging is a real highlight. Just snap your phone onto the power bank, and it starts charging without the need for any cables, which is fantastic for quick top-ups when you're on the move.

It works as advertised

During testing, we kept a close eye on the power bank's LED indicators as it charged our Xiaomi 17. Starting at 10:36 AM, with the phone at 13% battery, we noticed that all four LEDs on the power bank were lit up.

As time went on, the indicators shifted: by 10:54 AM at 20% phone charge, three LEDs were on; at 11:17 AM (25% phone charge) and 11:37 AM (31% phone charge), two LEDs were active. By 11:50 AM (35% phone charge), only one LED was lit. Finally, at 12:44 PM, all its LEDs were off, ending the charge at 46%.

With this test, we observed that the Xiaomi 17's battery increased by 22%, all within about an hour and fourteen minutes. This shows it can provide a solid boost when you need it for battery emergencies.

The good thing about this power bank is that it's not exclusive to Xiaomi devices. It is compatible with a wide range of devices, though it's worth noting that iPhone series devices will charge wirelessly only at up to 7.5W.
