Oil price rollback to be implemented this week

The rollback will start on April 14.

Oil price decrease will be implemented soon

Philippine President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. announced a larger expected price rollback in petroleum products this week.

Diesel prices are expected to drop by PHP 20.89 per liter, kerosene by PHP 8.50, and gasoline by PHP 4.43.

The price decreases will be implemented starting Tuesday, April 14.

DOE on Facebook captioned,

Hindi tayo titigil. Tuloy-tuloy ang trabaho ng pamahalaan para may tunay na ginhawa sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino.

This will be a great relief for Filipino consumers after weeks of price hikes amid the ongoing Middle East crisis. For instance, the price of diesel has breached the PHP 150 per liter level due to the issue.
