Leak: OnePlus could be working on a gaming handheld

Recent leaks suggest that OnePlus may be preparing to enter the gaming handheld market.

A new gaming powerhouse soon?

An unverified image of a device bearing the OnePlus brand has appeared online, accompanied by several reported key specifications.

In a now-edited post on Weibo, the tipster known as Digital Chat Station shared an image of what is claimed to be a OnePlus gaming handheld. 

The device shown features purple textured grips on both sides, shoulder trigger buttons, rear cameras with an LED flash, a USB Type-C port at the bottom, and volume keys on the side. Although the design shares similarities with OnePlus smartphones, the device in the image appears noticeably thicker.   

Separately, another tipster, Panda Is Bald, has claimed that the OnePlus gaming handheld will include an 8-inch display and be powered by a high-end MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

As of now, OnePlus has not made any official announcement regarding a gaming handheld, and these leaks should be treated with caution.
