In a Facebook post, OnePlus confirmed that a new "Nord" smartphone will launch in the Philippines on April 9.

The teaser partially showed a silhouette of the back camera and frame of the phone with the caption "Strikes fast. Stays cool."

This suggests that it will be a performance-focused smartphone with good heat dissipation for sustained speed.

Other than that, there are no other details about the phone yet.

A quick search on Google shows that the OnePlus Nord 6 with a 1.5K 165Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, and 9,000mAh battery is launching in India tomorrow.

We won't be surprised if this is the same phone.

There is also a recent report that OnePlus will also launch the CE6 Lite with a 6.7-inch 120Hz screen, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 7,000mAh battery, 50MP main cam, and 16MP selfie cam.
