While we weren't able to fully explore what its cameras can do, the camera specs and features that OPPO presented were insane for a phone.

According to OPPO, this phone has the ability to take high-quality images at different focal points from 14mm, 23mm, 47mm, 70mm, 139mm, 230mm, 460mm, and 15cm macro.

How? First, it has the 200MP f/1.5 LYT-901, a massive 1/1.12-inch sensor with OIS and an advanced autofocus tech. This main camera can shoot at 23mm and a lossless 47mm crop shot. OPPO said that this is also the largest 200MP sensor today.

The second sensor is the 50MP f/2.0 1/1.95-inch ultra-wide sensor with AF, capable of doing 14mm shots.

The third sensor is another 200MP f/2.2 1/1.28-inch 3x optical zoom. OPPO claims that this is the largest 200MP zoom lens on a phone yet. This can do 70mm optical and 139mm lossless zooms as well as 15cm near telemacro shots.

Compared to the 10MP 3x telephoto on its other "Ultra" rival from South Korea, OPPO claims that the Find X9 Ultra captures an astounding 890% more light.

The fourth camera is a 50MP f/2.7 10x optical zoom (first 50MP 10x) "built-in teleconverter" with Sensor Shift Optical Stabilization. This shoots the 230mm optical and 460mm lossless zooms.

OPPO highlighted that this sensor uses a Quintuple Prism Reflection Persicope, allowing the phone to take sharp 10x and 20x photos and videos.

This phone also has a New-Generation 3.2M f/2.4 True Color Camera (Multispectral sensor).

Moreover, it features a dual Nano-Coating in the lens with a high refractive index and low dispersion. The company claims that this guarantees pristine optical clarity while providing enhanced scratch resistance.

Other features of its camera include the LUMO Image Engine with Real-Time Triple Exposure + OPPO HDR. It also has the Hasselblad Hi-Res Mode (200MP shots), 50MP JPEG MAX, and 16-bit 50MP RAW MAX.

OPPO also claims that this has the most powerful video on any OPPO smartphone. It records up to 8K at 30fps, 4K 120fps, and 4K 60fps. The company is also promising lossless up to 20x footage.

It also supports the O-Log2 to preserve shadow details and reduce image smearing. In addition, it is ACES certified (Academy Color Encoding System and 3D LUT support.

To further enhance its shooting capability, the company made it compatible with the Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit, which includes the Hasselblad Explorer Case and OPPO Hasselblad 300mm Explorer Teleconverter

It has a two‑stage shutter for focus and shooting, a precise zoom dial, and a rear adapter that supports 67mm filters or the new Hasselblad teleconverter.

The 300mm zoom lens can deliver 13x optical zoom. Combined with the main camera, it can take up to 600mm zoom using its in-sensor crop.

The device runs on a 4.6GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 octa‑core processor paired with an Adreno GPU. It has up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Powering the phone is a massive 7,050mAh Si/C battery supported by 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. A PowerCore Battery Management Chip, along with a silicon‑carbon battery chip, enhances low‑power stability and ensures strong endurance even in cold conditions.

OPPO claims that it delivers up to 31 hours of YouTube streaming or 26 hours of TikTok use. Cooling is handled by an Encapsulated Thermal Unit with an advanced vapor chamber and high‑performance graphite layers.

On the software side, it runs ColorOS 16 with LiveSpace. A quick downward swipe collapses notifications into a minimalist capsule to preserve wallpaper aesthetics, while swiping up or tapping expands alerts for easy navigation.

AI features include AI Mind Space and AI Mind Pilot, which leverage Gemini, Perplexity, and DeepSeek to handle complex queries. There's also AI Menu Translation for instant language support.

Cross‑platform Quick Share works seamlessly even with iPadOS or iOS, while O+ Connect ensures smooth integration with both Mac and Windows systems.

Quick thoughts

Based on what we initially saw, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious smartphones of 2026.

It is undeniably premium thanks to its Hasselblad‑inspired design, SGS‑certified durability, and a dazzling 6.82‑inch QHD+ OLED display with tiny bezels. Moreover, it comes with legitimate 2026 flagship specs and features from Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a massive 7,050mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and AI‑driven software enhancements.

But, the real headline is Hasselblad camera system: a groundbreaking mix of 200MP and 50MP sensors covering focal lengths from ultra‑wide to 10x telephoto, backed by advanced optics, lossless zoom, and professional‑grade video features.

There is no official pricing yet, but this phone is confirmed to be available in the Philippines soon.

Watch out for more info.
